Eine absolute Neuheit in der Implantologie stellen heute Vollkeramik-Implantate auf Zirkondioxid-Basis dar. Sie garantieren h\u00f6chste Biokompatibilit\u00e4t und sind hoch \u00e4sthetisch im Frontzahnbereich. Gegen\u00fcber klassischen Titan-Implantaten haben sie einige Vorteile. Erstens sind sie in einem St\u00fcck hergestellt, dass hei\u00dft ohne Verbindung zwischen dem im Knochen verankerten Teil (Fixtur) und dem die Kronen tragenden Teil (Abutment). Dadurch wird verhindert, dass sich in diesem Raum Bakterien ansammeln und das Zahnfleisch um das Implantat herum ist ges\u00fcnder.<\/p>\n

Ein weiterer Vorteil des Materials besteht darin, dass es 100% wei\u00df ist, daher drohen keine unsch\u00f6nen Verf\u00e4rbungen im Bereich des Zahnhalses und der Gingiva unter dem Implantat. Bei der Keramik droht au\u00dferdem keine Korrosion, und daher auch kein Knochenabbau um das Implantat herum und keine Degradierung des Implantats.
